Potential Wholesale Hardware Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") respects the privacy of every user of the Hardware 24x7 mobile application and our website at www.hardware24x7.com (together, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Business name and GSTIN (GST verification is optional and undertaken at the User's discretion)
Mobile phone number and contact details
Business/delivery address, including pincode, to enable serviceability checks and accurate delivery
Order history, cart data, and Tally/stock-related data voluntarily shared for catalogue or order-matching purposes
Payment information processed through our payment gateway partner (we do not store full card/UPI credentials on our own servers)
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage and activity data, such as products viewed, items added to cart, checkouts started, and orders placed, used to improve the Platform and to measure our advertising
Device information (device type, OS version, app version) for troubleshooting and compatibility
Advertising identifiers: your device's advertising ID in the app, and cookies set by our advertising partners on our website, used to measure and target our advertising. On iOS, this is collected only if you permit tracking when you are asked, and you can change your choice at any time in your device settings.
Push notification tokens, used to send order updates, offers, and service alerts
2. How We Use Your Information
To create and manage your account, and verify business identity where GST verification is opted for
To process orders, payments, invoicing, and Partial COD collection
To arrange shipping and generate the Airway Bill (AWB) with our courier partner
To provide customer support and resolve tickets, complaints, or disputes
To send order updates, offers, and service communications via SMS, push notification, or email
To improve app performance and user experience through aggregated analytics
To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant offers on third-party platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations
3. How We Share Your Information
We share limited information with the following categories of third parties, strictly for the purpose of fulfilling your order, operating the Platform, and measuring our advertising:
Vendors: business name, delivery address, GSTIN (where applicable), and order details are shared with the relevant Vendor as required to print the Airway Bill (AWB) and fulfil the order. We do NOT share your mobile number with Vendors.
Courier Partner (currently Delhivery): name, address, and order details required for pickup and delivery.
Payment Gateway: payment-related data necessary to process the transaction securely.
Verification Services: GSTIN details may be shared with gstincheck.co.in (when GST verification is opted for), and pincode data with postalpincode.in, solely to validate and auto-fill business and address information.
Advertising and Analytics Partners (Meta Platforms Inc. - Facebook and Instagram): to measure and target our advertising, we share your device advertising identifier, your activity on the Platform (products viewed, items added to cart, checkouts started, and completed orders including the order value), and your mobile number and email address in an irreversibly hashed form used only to match you to an existing Meta account. We do NOT share your name or delivery address with Meta.
We do not sell your personal or business data to third parties.
4. Data Storage & Security
Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS. We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account remains active and thereafter as required to comply with applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations under Indian law.
6. Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Hardware 24x7 account and the personal data associated with it at any time:
In the app: open your Profile and select "Delete account", then confirm.
By email: write to info@hardware24x7.com from your registered email address, or quoting your registered mobile number, and we will action your request.
When your account is deleted, we remove your profile, contact details, saved addresses, cart, and wishlist. Records of completed transactions (orders, invoices, and tax documents) are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law, after which they are deleted.
7. Your Choices & Rights
GST verification is optional; you may use the Platform without completing it, subject to feature limitations as described in the Terms.
You may update your business/profile information from within the app at any time.
You may opt out of promotional push notifications and SMS through the app's notification settings, while continuing to receive essential transactional alerts.
You can limit or reset advertising tracking at any time in your device settings (on iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; on Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads).
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data by writing to info@hardware24x7.com, subject to our legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations. To delete your data, see section 6.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified within the app. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
