FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) General Q: What is Hardware 24x7? A: Hardware 24x7 is a B2B wholesale hardware marketplace, operated by Potential Wholesale Hardware Private Limited, connecting hardware retailers with verified manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers across India. The Platform is primarily designed for business-to-business buying, though certain features may also be accessible to individual customers. Q: Is GST registration mandatory to use the app? A: No. GST verification is optional and can be completed at your discretion. However, GST-verified business accounts may get access to B2B pricing, credit options, and certain Vendor-facing features not available to unverified accounts. Q: Do I need to be a registered retailer to buy on the Platform? A: While the Platform supports both B2B and B2C transactions, it is primarily focused on serving registered hardware retailers, and B2B account features and pricing are tailored accordingly. Orders & Payments Q: What payment methods are accepted? A: UPI, net banking, and Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD), where eligible, are accepted. Q: What is Partial COD? A: Partial COD requires a minimum advance payment at the time of order placement, with the remaining balance collected by the courier partner at the time of delivery. Q: Will I get a GST invoice for my order? A: Yes, a GST invoice is generated for every order, subject to the GST registration status of the fulfilling Vendor. Cancellation Q: Can I cancel my order after placing it? A: No. Hardware 24x7 does not offer a self-service order cancellation option for Buyers. Once a Vendor dispatches the shipment, the order cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Q: What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock at the Vendor's warehouse? A: The Vendor may cancel that specific item. If the order was Prepaid, the value is adjusted via a Credit Note (CN). If on Partial COD, it is adjusted against the remaining collectible amount. Shipping & Delivery Q: Who delivers my order? A: Orders are shipped via Hardware 24x7's designated courier partner, currently Delhivery. Q: What if my parcel is returned due to RTO (Return to Origin)? A: The shipment is routed back to the same Vendor who originally fulfilled the order. Returns Q: Can I return a product if I simply don't need it anymore? A: No. Hardware 24x7 does not offer general returns. Returns are accepted only for defective or damaged products. Q: How do I request a return for a defective or damaged item? A: Raise a support ticket within the app after the parcel is delivered. There is no direct return option — all return requests go through the Support Team via a ticket. Q: Who pays the return shipping cost? A: If the issue is due to the Buyer's fault (e.g., wrong address, refusal of delivery), the Buyer bears the cost. If it is due to the Vendor's mistake (wrong/defective item), the Vendor bears the cost. Refunds Q: How long does a refund take? A: Approved refunds are processed within 7 days of Credit Note (CN) issuance. Q: How will I receive my refund? A: Refunds may be issued to the original payment method, as wallet credit, or via bank transfer. We try to refund to the same origin used for the original payment wherever possible. Q: Will I get back a prepaid discount if my order is cancelled or refunded? A: No. If a Prepaid discount was applied at checkout, it will be deducted/adjusted at the time of refund since it was contingent on completed prepayment. Privacy & Data Q: Will Vendors see my phone number? A: No. Your business name, address, and GSTIN (where applicable) are shared with the Vendor only to the extent required to print the shipping label (AWB). Your mobile number is not shared with Vendors. Q: What data does the app collect? A: We collect business KYC details (GSTIN, business name), phone number, location/address, order history, and payment information, used solely to operate and improve the Platform.
